Arena del Mar

I originally booked a cabin a few weeks before our stay. The night before our stay, I was looking at the street view of the hotel on Google maps and realized the cabins aren't beach-front, but closer to the highway. The morning of our stay I called and talked to Jason and asked if I could switch to a hotel room. They were super helpful and switched our booking, no problem. We (my 16 and 17 y.o. and myself) stayed in the One Bedroom King Kitchenette. The room was clean, comfortable, and really cozy. When I called the office to find out where in town I could buy a fan Kate let me know they have lender fans available at the front desk. Kate was super bubbly and I think they might have been the kindest hotel staff I've ever met in my life. My only complaints: I wish the website made it more clear the cabins aren't oceanside. All the lightbulbs in the room were bright white and I would have liked a warm white, especially in the bedroom. If I ever travel to Grayland again I will definitely stay at Arena Del Mar. I was impressed.

This place was amazing! We had the beach view room and its was perfect. It was a minute walk from the beach. The room was clean and very inviting. All kitchen items that you might need was there. Things worked no complaints at all. The bed was comfy, the bathroom very nice, and the big windows let in so much light. It was a joy to stay there. I definitely didn't want to leave.

Look I hate giving up the best spot to stay in Grayland/Westport area but this is it. They have a Hotel on the beach with rooms that have been updated. Some with kitchenette. Another secret is try to get a room on the second floor. You will thank me later as the view is awesome. They also have cabins. Very cozy and stocked with everything you need. Large fireplace in community area to roast a Buffalo! Can't say enough. Try them once and they will become your favorite too!!

Clean and cozy with a beautiful view and private beach access. The only downside was the jacuzzi, which we were very excited for but the water doesn’t get very hot and turned cold after only a min or two after use, so we didn’t to enjoy the bathtub, or shower long enough to actually wash our hair or shave or anything. Everything else was excellent.

What a cute little place! The outsides of the buildings aren’t much to look at but the insides are so comfortable and cute. We stayed in one of two bedroom cabins with our dogs and loved it. Short walk down to the beach from the cabins and we had the beach to ourselves! Staff was super friendly. It’s just a short drive into Westport which has a lovely little strip of restaurants and shops. Also the international mermaid museum is just a 15min drive toward Aberdeen.

Awesome comfy beachfront rooms. Gorgeous views and the sound of ocean waves are so relaxingvwhile you sleep. Kate was awesome and answered anytime we called for more towels, etc... I love this spot. I wish I could live here! Saw two deer eating outside our window. Such an awesome natural setting. I prefer the beach building over the cabins I just love being able to stare at the beach all day. Gorgeous sunsets from our room. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing cannot wait to come back!

This place was exactly what I needed. So quiet. Very friendly. Suuuper comfy beds. Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I booked a cabin here for a random spontaneous one night trip and my oh my !!! The cabins are absolutely cozy and adorable. Not only do they offer cabins but down the road is a little hotel with the most amazing view of the beach! We are definitely coming back for a longer visit. This place is absolutely amazing and affordable for a great relaxing get away . Anyone looking or thinking about booking a room here I totally recommend!
